The Goulbourn Historical Society’s November Speaker’s Program features the Bytown Museum’s Grant Vogl taking us back to early Bytown and the conflict between canal workers and the men working in the lumber industry. It was a lusty time with Peter Aylen, the King of the Shiners, leading the fray.
